Great clipper, but does not open to a full #1

Great, strong clippers for fading! They blast through any hair type, aren’t too heavy for all day use, have a great battery life and charging stand! The only downside is that they do NOT open to a full #1 with rhe stretch bracket like they are said to. With a taper blade, maybe, but the standard fusion blade only opens enough to leave a cut length of 1.72mm. A #1 detachable blade cuts to 2.4mm and a #1 plastic guard is 3mm (plus the thickness of the blade it is on) leaving 3.5mm at the least. The only clipper I know that opens to a cut length even close to 3mm is the JRL, but it isn’t so great with bulk or even fine hair. If you want a full #1 out of these, I recommend the stretch bracket and a taper blade!
